Coloured Radios for Enhanced Safety
Tait two-way radios are available in black, red, orange, yellow, high-visibility green, and intrinsically safe blue. This simple design feature offers several important benefits:
- Easy Identification
If your have multiple user groups on your radio system – e.g. management, security, maintenance – having a different colour for each can prevent users being stranded with the wrong radio in their hands. - Personalisation
More colours are available with the Tait TP3 series radios, allowing an organisation more flexibility to personalise the radios to their requirements. - Easy to See
For radio users working in low visibility environments finding a high-vis green radio can be much easier than finding a black radio, saving time, which could be vital in an emergency. - Intrinsically Safe (IS)
For applications requiring intrinsically safe (IS) radios for certain locations having a designated colour for IS radios (traditionally blue) is critical to differentiating these from other radios on the fleet.
